Because you shouldn't need a PhD in Hydroponics to make watering your small houseplants easy. If your urban jungle has got you being a slave to the watering can, this easy set up cuts way down on watering time and makes sure your plants only take how much water they need.

To use:
- Cut & trim ends (which may fray slightly)
- Submerse one end in a water reservoir
- Carefully bury the other end in soil, close to the roots but trying not to disturb them too much (use something small to poke it down like a hairgrip)
- Pat down the soil around the cord to ensure good contact
- Occasionally top up the water reservoir and check the cord is damp to make sure it's working properly - cord should feel slightly damp to the touch.

Tip: Use a water container with a small neck to ensure minimum evaporation
from the sun - Glass Milk/Beer/Wine bottles work great! (We've even used an old teapot!)

Maintenance: Every few months, give the cords a little wash to keep them clean!

Take it to the next level: Put a Marimo moss ball in your water reservoir, they not only keep the water clean but look amazing!
